We're having a quick chat about the self-watering system in the greenhouse I introduced you guys to last year. It uses a capillary bed to bottom water multiple pots and trays and keeps a consistent and reliable level of watering.

The plan was to make a vertical strawberry planter out of old pallets but it all went wrong as the weather took a real turn for the worst. Leaving me with a box of live strawberry plants and nowhere to plant them.

It's the middle of January and I'm sowing my peppers seeds indoors. For some people, starting your seeds just now is an option, but it's not for everyone. Seeds need heat to germinate and then those seedlings need a lot of light to thrive. I've set up a germination station in my office with a heat mat and lights to take my seeds from germination to healthy plants, hopefully getting ahead start on my growing season.
